Bill was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from Cambridge University 2003, in addition to an earlier attainment of two Bachelor degrees and two Master degrees in the fields of Education and Theology. He was ordained as Priest by the Anglican Church of Australia (Sydney Diocese) in 1997, and served as an Assistant Minister at St. Luke’s Liverpool. Bill’s previous experience also includes a season of primary school teaching and work as a lecturer at Oak Hill College in London. Bill has published two books, The Rhetorical Impact of the Semeia in the Gospel of John, and Jesus All About Life (co-authored with Peter Downey). He also contributed a chapter to the book, Still Deadly: Ancient Cures for the 7 Sins, as well as publishing several articles and essays.
