Graphic Design Exhibition Reflects Talent and Creativity of 3rd Year Students
Graduating students of the School of Graphic Design showcased their third year major works and final portfolios at the End of Year Exhibition on Tuesday 23 November at the Wesley Institute Theatre.
Over 150 guests were in attendance. Graphic Design student, Emma Park, said, “The exhibition was a fantastic way to show our family, friends, and the industry the hard work that we had put into the last 3 years. Seeing our work displayed up around the theatre was a huge accomplishment and it feels great to have ended on such a high note.”
In total, eighteen students were represented at the Exhibition, including: James Algeo, Lauren Boyd, Manel Chami, Omar Dalagan, Jessica Edwards, Stephanie Georgiadis, Luke Jarrett, Angela Joseph, Florence Jouvie, Savannah Keshwan, Kelly Lauricella, Kathleen Liu, Emma Park, Erashmal Perera, Cate Silvester, Elizabeth Stevens, Hui Tang and Xiang Tang.
“The graphic design course at Wesley Institute gives students great opportunities to experiment with design and produce some truly unique projects. Our lecturers give us the freedom to try new things that will push the boundaries of design, and the guidance to make those designs great,” said Emma. “I believe this level of creative thinking will be our greatest asset as we enter the industry.”
