Welcome New Students!
First year Wesley Institute students have got off to a great start this semester, with Orientation information sessions and activities designed to help new students find their feet in a new course and campus.
Information sessions were run on academic conduct, using the Library, accessing the Student Portal, about Wesley Institute, as well as enrolment sessions with each Head of Department. Dance students also had the opportunity to participate in a preparatory class.
Of course, it hasn't been all hows and whys - this year Orientation also included a Scavenger Hunt through the city (with challenges involving swapping shirts with strangers and asking a passerby to buy an icecream for every group member!) and a Harbour Cruise with dinner and dancing.
Current Wesley Institute students embraced the opportunity to welcome new students, with many volunteering their time to flip pancakes, conduct campus tours, provide live music, and mingle with new students.
