She has a passion for film, and really grew as a screen actor while studying under Wesley Institute’s lecturer, Robert Carne. Recently, Lisa began a Screen Actor course at NIDA. The course runs over four terms, focusing on a range of elements and screen acting skills.

Following her experience at NIDA, Lisa will be venturing to Los Angeles to study with the New York Film Academy. The year-long intensive course covers Acting Technique, Acting for Film, Film Craft, Meisner, Voice, Movement, Speech, Text Analysis, Improvisation, Shakespeare, Introductory Audition Technique, Performance Analysis: American Cinema, Scene Study, Acting for Film Production Workshop, Business of Acting and Audition Skills, Combat for Film and Acting for Television.

“WI definitely helped me grow as an actor,” says Lisa. “It instilled confidence in myself as an actor, as well as stretched and challenged me. But it was these challenges that made me realise my passion and what I really wanted to pursue. Whilst the lecturers are demanding, it was their discipline that helped me get to where I am today.”
