Cassandra Bertolucci - 2005 Music Graduate

From the USA to Australia and back!

Former international student Cassandra Bertolucci (Bachelor of Music, 2005) has certainly been putting her Worship Arts vocal major to the test since graduation. Having moved back to the US, she sings in a blues rock band, leads worship at her church, teaches young children music, art and movement – and has found the time to get married as well!

Now Cassandra and her new husband Chris Tenney are moving to San Jose, California, to plant a missional multi-ethnic church in the middle of Silicon Valley! Cassandra says she’s grateful to Wesley Institute for encouraging her as a Christian as well as equipping her in music and ministry.

“My biggest learning at Wesley and since are probably the same: God has a bigger idea for your life than you do! He knows the desires of your heart that you haven't even discovered yet.” Her advice for other aspiring music ministers? “Dream big dreams and put all your trust in the One who can make them come true. Your life will probably not look like you thought it would, but with God at the helm, you will never steer wrong.”
